Handwriting sheets

Today i printed off a large quantity of handwriting sheets to help me with my handwriting
i sat for 6 hours writing them all out to a neat standard and i feel it is slowly making my handwriting better. i could of cried with joy when i saw my comparison from the start of the day compared to the end.
i was very happy.
this has helped me go towards if not achieve one of my PDP things

Inspirational people Photography

Today i have been taking photographs of the local inspirational people in Kings Park. i feel these images are very good quality and look exceptional from a photography point of view. I was doing this to raise awareness about inspirational people in my local area but also to take some really good photographs.
i will attach the images below.
you might be wandering what inspirational people in kings park have to do with ICT but one of my targets on my PDP is to become a better photographer and be better at using photoshop.

I have passed my driving test. this means i can now travel independently to get to my job when i get one. this is very good for me and my future.

i have also been using Photoshop to create thumbnails for my you tube channel on youtube.

The Photoshop experience is good to have for a career path.

i have been creating thumb nails by creating my own background and getting images without a back ground onto my work. i have also been creating my own colour schemes.
i feel

Today i have been taking photographs of LEGO figures in surround areas of my neighbourhood. i have been taking this images as later i will attempt to make changes to them using Photoshop.
i believe that this is one of the first steps in my journey to become a graphic designer.

as well as doing this i have also been looking online for Graphic design companies in my local area. i could apply for the job now but i want to better myself and get the level 3 qualification

Hi Guys weekends here again, hope you've had a good week and earned a few quid. Last blog entry for this week i believe this will be my last.
I hope so as this bit will be covering my P8 which is to write a blog.
So far this has been alright really.
Writing this blog week in week out has helped my with my general English skills and writing. My writing/English skills as you know are one of my skills i need to improve.


I believe this is to do with me achieving my smart targets

I did some work for Doug that was about building a PC. i had to then present this to my peers. Because of the good support from everyone else in class and even people from a different class this has helped me become more confident at speaking to large groups of people. This is good because it was on my PDP. Because it has gone towards my PDP this is good.

speaking in front of others has helped me to gain confidence in pitching my ideas for when i become a graphic designer.

I have done a document on how IT aids people when coming to communication. This document included me writing emails and creating formal documents.
this has helped me as i want to be a graphic designer and i will need to be able to communicate with customers and be formal.

i have been undertaking driving lessons so that i can get my license in order to travel further when i am looking for a job

ICT Employability Booklet

Today i have completed a booklet that i feel includes lots of information.
Some of this information includes what skills you will need for a specific job within the ICT industry. For example if you are wanting to become a graphic designer you must be able to use software such as Adobe Photoshop or even Microsoft Paint.
The document also includes general skills. These are the skills that you will need to have in general to get any job not just an ICT specific job. General skills count for things such as good grammar or punctuation. Being confident in yourself and your ideas is also confident in your ideas.
This has helped me become more confident which is one of my PDP point.

Beetlejuice Green Presentation

I have completed my presentation to the class today. I have chosen to do it about the legendary icon Beetlejuice Green. I feel that I had educated my class mates on this.
One of my personal development things was that I need to gain confidence when speaking in front of others. I feel this has really helped me gaining the confidence I need.
I am a shy young boy and i am grateful Gordon has given me this excellent opportunity to gain some confidence. Everyone enjoyed my presentation and I enjoyed presenting it so i would say that this has been a successful task and it has helped me to achieve one of my personal development things.

I have created a document that includes barriers of communication.
this includes
Different languages
Lack of topic
Disability
Distractions
Accent
Social Cultural issues
I had to explain how they create a barrier in communication and how it can be possible to overcome these barriers.
This document was an easy piece of work.
Unlike some in this group i did all the work by myself and didn't get my helper to do it all for me.

I have uploaded P5 to Gordon, it was a technical document which i described the required spec to create a PC that was able to create and run VR games.

i have to choose all of the components within a £2000 budget. i did this

Conversation barriers

I have completed my piece of work for Gordon. it was quite an easy task but i suppose that's how Pass work goes.
The work asked me to explain any barriers that may be between conversations such as rudeness or the other person being dead.
I had to write what things often stop communication and how to overcome them

This task has helped me see more openly to people who may not be as fortunate as me with their speaking/ listening for example people that have had their tongue cut off.
